The DN-JT011 drag knife head is a passive, unpowered knife head that completes cutting by dragging the knife tip, used for kiss cutting or through cutting of thin materials.
Core Advantages
- Simple passive cutting structureUnpowered drive, few parts, easy to install and replace.
- Adjustable knife pressureSwitch between kiss cutting and through cutting modes by adjusting the knife pressure, adapting to materials of different thicknesses.
- Small circular blade with a small turning radiusDrags and cuts continuously while closely following the contour, producing smooth cutting lines, suitable for curved contours.
- Low cost of useSimple structure, low maintenance, and convenient blade replacement.
Applicable Materials and Industries
Suitable for kiss cutting or through cutting of thin materials such as adhesive labels, films, cardstock, and leather surfaces. Commonly used in garment pattern making and curved contour cutting of leather samples, and can also be used for sampling and proofing of thin packaging and printing materials.
Selection Advice
If the material is relatively thin and the work is mainly contour cutting and kiss cutting, the drag knife head can be given priority. It is necessary to confirm that the material thickness matches the knife pressure adjustment range; graphics with many curves and dense turns better demonstrate the advantages of the small circular blade. For thick or high-hardness materials, it is recommended to evaluate other knife head types separately.
